A LOSS ON THE YEAR
[UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGH D SYDNEY, June 23. The New South Wales railways show a loss on the past- year’s working. The wages have increased by half a million pounds compared with two years ago. The Commissioner proposed to raise fares and freights by £l4, ,000 vearlv.
