NEW ZEALAND PRIZE-WINNERS [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] (Received July 2, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 2. At the Sheepbreeders’ Association’s annual show the New Zealand prizetakers were:— Romney Marsh ram, two years—D. Grant (Timaru) 1, and second for ram under two years. Ram, twelve months.—J. Dowthwaite (Waimate) 1 and 1 2. Ewe, under 18 months.—J. Dowthwaite 1, and also first for a pen of ewes and second for ,a pen of rams. Border Leicesters, rams over two and under two.—D. Grant two seconds. Ram, 12 months.—D. Grant 1, J. Nixon (Killichy) 2. Ewe, two years.—W. Renner (Doyleston) 2. Ewe, under two years.— J. Dowtlivvaite 1. Ewe under 18 months. —J. Dowthwaite 1 and 2. Pen of rams.-—J. Dowthwaite 1, W. Rennie 2. . Pen of ewes.— J. Dowthwaite 1, W. Rennie 2. English Leicester rams, two years. —D. Grant 1, J. Nixon 2. Ram, 12 months. —J. Nixon 1, D. Grant 2. Ewe under two years."—J. JNixon 1 and 2. Ewe under 18 months.—J. Nixon 2. Grand champion Romney . Marsh ram ewe.—Joseph Downthwaite. Both in number and quality, the display of British-bred, sheep constituted records.
