The following are the readings of the barometer in our office, taken at 6 a.m. each day:—
GOVERNMENT METEOROLOGIST’S REPORT,
Present indications are for a further decrease in barometric pressure with strong northerly winds changing by west to south after 24 to 36 hours. Cloudy and unsettled weather is probable generally. The present disturbance is travelling with unusual rapidity and is not expected to pass until about Friday night.
