TOLAGA BAY PROGRESSIVE LEAGUE. [FEOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] TOLAGA BAY. July 15. The monthly meeting of the To'laga Bay Progressive, League was held in the Town Hall last week, eleven members being present, Mr J..D. G. Thornton in the chair. The league agreed to the site chosen by Mr E. Boland, for the erection of a lamp on Colebrook’s corner, to light the approaches to Post Oflico and Bridge. , Messrs C. E. Smith, Dr Weeks and G. T. Reed were appointed as a subcommittee to go into the matter or estimate for lighting with Mr Boland, and to see Mr Boland regarding the depositing of 1 rubbish in. some other place rather than the beach, as this is a great nuisance as well as being dangerous and unsightly. Messrs T. E. Parry and H. G. Gribble were elected as members of the League. ■
