COPENESS DISCHARGED. [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT ] ' (Received Jiilv 17. 1 a.m.) MELBOURNE. July 16. Copeness was charged with murdering his wife, and the Chief Justice, after hearing the evidence, directed the jury to return a verdict of not guilty and accused was discharged.
