The yearly return for the period ended March 31, shows that 407,729 Britishers left the United Kingdom for places out ,of Europe, including Canada 185,349 Australia and New Zealand 92,629 United States 94,176 Sixty per centum of these emigrants were males of ages between 18 years and 30 years, wnereof men of- skilled trades numbered 32 per centum, laborers 25 per cent., agriculturists 19 per cent., and commercial and professional 15 per cent. . The immigrants into Britain totalled 71,275. _____
