The Monowai, which arrived from South on Saturday morning, left later in the day for Auckland. The Tarawera, which left Auckland at 2 o’clock on Saturday afternoon for Gisborne via Tokomaru arrived in the bay yesterday afternoon and after being tendered left in the evening for southern ports. The fleet of sailers which has accumulated in the port during the last fortnight made their clearances on Saturday and Sunday. The barquentine Lindstol, bound for Havelock, left on Saturday morning in tow of the Karoro, but returned to the bay and anchored under Young Nick’s Head in the evening, owing to the thick weather. The vessel took her departure again early on Sunday morning. The scows Korora and Fangi left for Auckland, while the ketch Coronation left yesterday for Mercury Bay. The Rosamond left Auckland at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday for Gisborne via Tolago and is due early this morning. The Maitai, which was to have left Lyttelton on Saturday wa's delayed owing to heavy rain and her departure in consequence was postponed until to-day. The steamer will arrive here on Thursday night.
