The Maitai arrives at Napier this morning, and will leave this evening for Gisborne, being due early to-morrow morning, and is to be tendered by one launch at 6 a.m. The steamer was delayed at Lyttelton for two days owing to the heavy rain at that port. The Monovvai is due this afternoon from Auckland via Tokomaru, and will be tendered on arrival and at 7 p.m., prior to her departure for the south. The scow Rangi put back to port yesterday afternoon, being unable to make headway up the coast. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo arrived yesterday afternoon from Auokland via Coast bays. . „ ~ The Ripple is due as usual on Friday with general cargo from Wellington and Napier. The Amelia Sims is loading pipes at Auokland for Gisborne, and on completion of discharge here the schooner leaves for Auckland again to load tiles for Gisborne ex the barque Loch Garve from Marseilles.
