KIA KAHA CRICKET CLUB.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. The first annual meeting of the •above chib was held at the British Eihpire Hotel last evening, Mr. E. W. Harvey presiding. The report and balance-sheet being formally adopted, the election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Rev. Ohatterton; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. De Marr, W. Howard, G. T. Bull, Jj. Redward, and G. B. Oman; secretary and treasurer (pro tem.), Mr. G. W. Webster; Thursday team captain, Mr. E. W. Harvey; vice-captain, Mr. R. Grant. The election of committees was held over until next meeting, September 5, at the British Empire Hotel, when a full attendance is earnestly requested. The election of Saturday officials was also held) over for further consideration. A vote of thanks ivas passed to the retiring officials by acclamation.
