Sir James Crichton-Browne, vicePresident of the Royal Institution, speaking at the Sanitary Congress at Llandudno, said road dust was one of the chief causes of tetanus.. He condemned a proposal to teach children to avoid roacl dangers, and claimed that the onus rested upon motorists.- No skedaddle rules would quicken the movements of hapless brats startled by the bogey man on the motor,.
