[PRESS ASSOCIATION TEIiBGRAM] CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 10. At Addington to-day there wore average entries of stock and a good attendance. There was no change in the values' of fat cattle. Store sheen were-offered in smaller numbers, ancl tiie only change in prices was that ewe hoggets were firmer. A few new season’s fat lambs sold.' well and fat sheep opened firmly, but the market eased somewhat later on. Fat pigs sold freely at an advance in prices* Store Sheep.—The yarding, of .store sheep was very small. Quotations: Good ewe hoggets 19s to 20s sd, other ewe hoggets 16s to 17s, best lines of mixed and wether hoggets 16s 64 to 17s 2d, good sorts 16s, small and inferior culls 11s, small and inferior lines 14s, four and six-tcoth wethers 22s to 22s Bd, two and four-tooth (fairly forward) to 20s 6d, two-tooths (lowconditioned) 18s lid, aged and loweondtioned bwes 12s Bd. Fat Lambs.—There were 26 new season’s fat lambs entered. They were of nice quality and well grown, and sold well, best making 25s to 28s, and lighter 19s to 22s 6d. Fat Sheep.—The entry.of fat sheep was somewhat larger than for the past two weeks. The market opened very firmly, but eased off somewhat later on. There were a number of lots of unfinished wethers that -were not oven forward enough for graziers, and these were dull of sale. The range of prices was: Prime wethers 23s 6d to 295, lighter 21s to 235, prime ewes 20s 6d to 27s 44, others 17s 1.14 to 20s, hoggets 18s 6d to 20s, merino wether a 18s to 225, merino owes 18s 34. Fat Cattle.—Beef cattle were represented by a yarding aggregating 267 head. Following is the range of prices: Stoers £7 15s to £ll 2s 6d, extra, to £l6 12s 6d, heifers £6 7s 64 to £9 ssi extra to £l2 ss, cou's £5 15s to £9, extra to £l2 15s.

Store Cattle.—These were in fairly good supply, but the bulk were too young for this season of the year, and consequently the demand was not keen .for. tliis class, but other descriptions were in. gifod demand. Yearlings made £ll 12s to £ll 13s, 15 to 18 months’ sorts £2 6s to £3 1.55, two-year steers £5 Is, two-year heifers £4‘ 3s, two and a-half year steers £5 Is, throe-year heifers £4 2s 6d, and dry cows £1 15s to £5 10s. Fat Pigs.—There was a medium entry of fat pigs.
