THE THREE-FIFTHS MAJORITY

ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE MADE

SHORTLY

f>BESB ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM-1 PALMERSTON N., Sept, 29. A representative deputation from the No-License League waited on the Premier to-day. Mr. H. Crabb, of the No-Incense party, said lie considered that they were laboring under disadvantage in having to take the three-fifths majority. They did not want to bring forward any other question except a reduction in the majority. Ho would make this a test question next election. Mr. Massev said he was not able to give a definite answer, but within a fortnight or three weeks the Government would make an announcement as to whether a Bill would be introduced this session. It would not be made a party measure. Members would not be asked to break their promises to the electors.
