MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. ■

The final meeting of the Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Ru«rby Union for the present season was held last evening. There were present: Messrs H.-B. Maude (Chairman), T. 0. V. Fahey, J. A. Baton, W. Howard, 'S'. S. Dean, C. F. Peny, and D. Cowan (secretary). A letter was received from the mstings sub-Union, requesting that the Union should forward the Lane Shield forfeited to them on account of nonfulfilment of match, and it was decided to do so. • . A request from the Gisborne High School for the use of Victoria Domain on October 17-for the School sports was granted subject to the approval ot the P.B. Cricket Association. The final match of the year, United Thirds v. Kaiti-Oity 'Hurds, will be played on Victoria Domain on Saturday next at 2.30.
