ROWING
POVERTY BAY r CLUB. if A meeting of the committee of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club was held last, night. There were present: Messrs J. Webb (Chairman), W. Hall, 0. Hansen, C. Clark, J. Stuart, L. Stitchbury, W. McGuffie, and Arcli. Kirk (hon. secretary). A letter was received from Mr J. Poole, for electing a delegate to represent the Club on the Hawke’s Bay Association ' Messrs J. Webb and C. Clark were appointed a visiting committee for ihe ensuing week. Messrs A. Kirk, 0. Hansen and J. Stuart were elected a hall committee for the month. The committee decided to request all members of the Club to be punctual in attendance at the opening of the season on Saturday next. The following crews were selected for the first trial fours, for which Mr B. S. Cox is presenting photos of the winning crew :—J. Stuart (stroke), B. Gardiner (3). E. Hayes (2), 0. Thody (bow); V.
