POVERTY BAY r CLUB. if A meeting of the committee of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club was held last, night. There were present: Messrs J. Webb (Chairman), W. Hall, 0. Hansen, C. Clark, J. Stuart, L. Stitchbury, W. McGuffie, and Arcli. Kirk (hon. secretary). A letter was received from Mr J. Poole, for electing a delegate to represent the Club on the Hawke’s Bay Association ' Messrs J. Webb and C. Clark were appointed a visiting committee for ihe ensuing week. Messrs A. Kirk, 0. Hansen and J. Stuart were elected a hall committee for the month. The committee decided to request all members of the Club to be punctual in attendance at the opening of the season on Saturday next.
