j An unwilling bridegroom has causI.ed quite a sensation at Bonymaen, I near Swansea. j The young man in question had, it ! is said, agreed to marry a BonYm ieu lady, and the wedding was fixed fer a certain day at the local registry office. The bride waited some considerable time for the bridegroom at her brother’s residence, but he did not put in an appearance. Messengers were sent to the house in which lie resided with his mother, but he was not to be found. His mother states that he had not recently been courting the girl, and that he never gave Iris consent to the publication of the banns. He was 21 years of age, and her only support. On the other hand, the bride’s father states that the young man was in his house on Sunday night last to make formal preparations, and that lie signed the papers three weeks before consenting to the publication of the banns. The girl has since been indisposed, and Iras kept to her bed.
