NOTES. The Tangaroa leaves Napier this morning and is due here at 3 o’clock this afternoon. The steamer makes a return trip by daylight on Thursday. The auxiliary schooner Orete arrived from the Coast yesterday and will return to-morrow. The Craig; liner Ihumata is expected to complete discharge on Thursday and will go to Hokianga to load timber for Sydney. The topsail schooner Amelia Sims, whioh left for Auokland on Sunday morning’, could not beat up the coast and had to return in the evening. The schooner made another attempt yesterday morning with a similar result. At dusk last evening the schooner was still at anchor in the Bay. The crews of the Ripple, Squall, and Kahu have given notice, and it is to be hoped that the crew of the Tangaroa will not follow suit. The sailing of the N.Z. Shipping Co’s Rimutaka, which was to have left Wellington on Thursday for London, has been indefinitely postponed owing to the existing labor troubles. TELECRAPHIC. BLUFF, Nov. 17. —Arrived at 4.30 p.m., Ulimaroa, from Hobart, with English mail.
