LORD ROSEDERY
“A chapel and burial vault are being erected on Lord Rosebery’s estate at Rosebery House, and will ; be completed early next summer, laird Rosebery privately laid the foundation stone some months ago, and is taking much interest in the progress of the work. He contemplates residing more regularly at Rosebery House, and Dalmeny will see less of him than formerly,” says the “Telegraph.'’ “The estate of Rosebery is beautifully situated along the Moorioot Hills. The house is neither large nor of any antiquarian interest, and was neer much in occupation by his Lordship's family until ho himself had it furnished and renovated for his own residence. In later years lie has been more partial to his home at Rosebery than to that of Dalmeny, for he likes its more bracing situation, and it provides him with that solitude and retirement which in these days he >apuears more than ever to desire.”
