TEN YEARS OF FRAUD

In sentencing a mail named Alfred John Lambert recently t 0 three years’ penal servitude for obtaining money ami credit by false pretences, the Recorder said that in his twentyfour years’ experience he had not seen or heard of a more dangerous man. Pomeroy, and spent it all. At Folkestone his children were placed at expensive schools, and fees amounting to £694 were not paid. In 1911 he took Augustine Court, Sandwich, at £SO a \v.eek for six weeks, and paid no rent.
