PERSONAL NOTES.

Lieut. Allan Muir, of Gisborne, who leaves shortly with the 6th Reinforcements, is at present in Gisborne on final leave. Lieut. Muir fell a victim to the prevailing epidemic o'f measles which swept Trenthani camp, and was for a, time an inmate of Berhampove Hospital. He has now completely recovered, and 'is looking very fit and well. . Lieut. Muir is not among the many who can find nothing gaod! to say of Trenthani camp. He is filled with the esprit do corps and ardor of the true soldknv and is much impressed with the ’ military organisation which prevails at Trenthani.
