THE WEATHER.
Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather generally, but changeable and showery for a short period on the East Coast between East Cape and Kaikoura, winds variable, but moderate to strong south-easterlies prevailing northward of Westport and Lyttelton and northerlies elsownero. Little change of barometric pressure is anticipated at present.
