Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Pipple is expected from South on Friday morning, and sails for Wellington direct on Friday night, after discharging cargo. The Union Co.’s s.s. Warrimoo arrived in port yesterday morning and was tendered on arrival and at 10 o’clock. The vessel left for Tokomaru Pay and Auckland about 11.30. The Warrimoo will commence her southward trip on Saturday afternoon, and will arrive on Sunday afternoon. She will be tendered on arrival and at 6.45 p.m. The S.S. and A. steamer Atlienie •will leave at 12 noon to-day for Napier. The U.S.S. Co.’s s.s. Tarawera arrived from Auckland via Tokomaru yesterday afternoon and was tendered on arrival and at 7.30 p.m. The vessel left later in the evening for Napier and Southern ports. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Kahu is duo to arrive on Sunday, August 1, from Auckland and Coast ports. It is reported that the s.s. Opulu, which has been engaged for some time in the Union Cut’s New Zealand trade has been sold to an Eastern firm..
