A P.A. cable from London announces the death of Captain Nason, formerly British Commission at the Ne - Hebrides. Word was received from Private AR. McL-auchlan from the Dardanehr> by the last m-db stating that he was quite well. Private AlcLauchlan is a member of the nr.es ' reporter stab. who left with the main body NX • force, and took oart in the historic lauding at the Dardanelles. “It is with deep regret 1 note the loss of our keen and active member. Mr Arnold, and also Air Humphrey-., who, although through affliction no longer an active member, will long be remembered as one of those . who brought honor to our Club as a winner in the Championship Fours team for the North Island,” remarked Air I. Harris, president of tho Gisborne Bowling Club, in reviewing tho past year at tho annual meeting last night.
