THE WEATHER.
Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds, changing to northerly northward of New Plymouth. and l Napier, and freshening noj-thcrlies elsewhere; increasing hiazo and cloudiness probable general ly, with rain following in the West Coast and south or nmost districts of the South Island. Conditions are also somewhat threatening the northern portion of the North Island. Tine barometer lias a falling tendency.
