ROYAL COMMISSION’S REPORT. fUNITEB F22SS ASSOCIATION—COPTUIGHT.I (Received Julv 29. 9.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE. July 29. The report of the Royal Commission which inquired into the mail service between Lord Howe, Norfolk Island and the Papuan Islands recommends that a faster and more frequent service should he run, provided with cold storage and wireless, while the ostaL lishment of a Post Office and wireless station at Norfolk Island are also necessary. The Commission finds no. evidence in support of a deputation s statement that the Rurns-Philip Company is retarding progress m the New Hobrides.
