An ordinance posted at the Courthouse at Norfolk Island abolishes the present executive as from July 31, and provides a council of six elected and six appointed ' members, who shall elect a president, and vice-president-from their own number. The president is to receive v2O a, year from tho island revenue. The franchise is extended to women of 21 years.
