OPERA HOUSE PICTURES
The current urograinme at Lie Opera House will be finally screened this evening. This delightful scries opens with a magnificent scenic, subject “Scenes in Pretoria.’ 11ns is the’most delightful scenic film ever produced. It is interesting right, through, and the photography is perfect. ' The outstanding _ feature is ‘•'Their Simple Life,” a Keystone star comedy featuring Roseoe Arbuckle and Mabel Normaudi. The scenes are laid on a. farm, and before the fun begins ©ne sees Mabel milking the cows an< “Fatty” feeding the calves, the latest. -War Budget contains entertaining items from all parts of the world. 1 ‘Greater Love Hath: No Man is a very impressive Anglo-Japanese b- the Edison Company. Anri.'- drama, “The Beat of the Year.” is 2000 ft. long and very exciting. Two pressmen are sent to.get information of an amazing murder mystery. Ihe unravelling of the motive for . the crime and' the tracing of the criminals, and the results which follow, make a drama that is quite different from most of the stories of to-day. “A: Rude Awakening” (a comedy) completes- this fine series. WORLD'S PICTURES. World’s Picture patrons crowded the popular picture house to overflowing last evening to farewell then favorites in tho -serial photoplay, “Trey o’ Hearts,” and judging by the applause, the • ding of the pietme was to the public taste. The appearance of the title “The Master Key was tho signal for a vociferous outburet of applause, and the first instaiin cut gives a splendid introduction in a . novel manner to a photoplay serial, that promises to be far ahead of anything yet produced. The programme will I>e repeated this evening.
