OPERA HOUSE PICTURES',
Another glorious programme will be screened at the Opera House this evening. The outstanding attraction is the tenth episode of the wild animal serial, “Adventures of Katie lyn.” Katblyn and her sister, Winnie. disappear through the trail leading from the big animal cage to the tunnel beneath, and so surprised the cast assembly, and- created an indescribable scene. Shortly after the scape Katblyn becomes a real Joan of Arc with an: automatic guu of the latest pattern. There is a revolution, a fight with lions, and Katblyn is once more separated from her ta~ tlier, and her. enemy, the fiendish Umballah, finds Kathlyii in a precarious position. The Keystone Company contributed an uproarious comedy, ‘Hogan’s Wild Oats,” while the popular news vendor, “Ansi ralian 'Gazette’ is a splendid l edition of this everpopular subject. “Another Chance” is a narrative that not only touches the heart, but it makes an appeal to the intelligence. ft has a blending of pathos and humor, and carries with it a note of truth. Other pictures are “A Devil of a Honeymoon (comedy), -'The Little Engineer” (drama), and "A Canine Rival” (comedy). PATHE PICTURES. Regular performances will be resumed at His Majesty's Theatre tonight, when Pa the- Pictures will submit a series of startling attractions which will be bound to cause quite a stir. The star drama will be a brilliant emanation from the Rubin studios, entitled “When- Honor Awakes.” Hero we have a young man occupying a room at a cheap hotel, who is determined to commit suicide, and leave no brace of Ids identity, lie is attracted by the smell of gas; lie hesitates and investigates. In. the next room he finds a young woman, who is in the same plight as himself. She bad tried to commit suicide by gas sufiornt ion. He revives her, and she lells him Iter story. It somewhat resembles his own. The city is San Francisco, and just, at this moment the earthquake happens. With the first instinct of self-preservation, quite forgetting the previous intention, they race (o « public park. And here some stirring adventures are met with, and they decide to make a success of file, 'the end is beautifuliv told, and it leaves (tie audience delightfully happy. Another film which will cause unusual interest will be “Captured by a Herman Submarine,” which shoys the .capture of two Dutch steamers olf the. Belgian coast bv the German submarine L3qA. close view of the ‘ submarine is alfordecl as she steams alongside the Batavier V., and signals “Stop! Show us your papers.” Pilots are then placed aboard the captured vessels, and the submarine then leads the vessels through the mine fields into Zeobrugge, where the cargoes ol promptly stolen by the Germans. Ibis is probably the only view of a submarine actually at work which has over been caught by the camera, and the drama is a thrilling one. '-Lucy s Elopement'' will.be found a charming '•omedv-drama. which shows bow love laughs at locksmiths. A trio of. snappy comedies will also be included in ”.lhe Terrible Trunk.” "Josie s Legacy, and "Only a Farmer’s Daughter.
