CVmplaints were made that Americans lia l secured a monopoly tf the War Office | business. They were told ilia: tic.' ! meat was ail right and the prices not i too high, yet, since the Loginning oi Tile year, all orckrs had gone to America. It- was decided to ask the Fed-, rai Government to relieve the d.a.ii- k. either by removing the embargo on export or ascertaining the War Office’s reasons for the refusal to accept contracts.
