LONG .LIST OF OFFENDERS. T’lu>re were numerous by-law cases before Mr Barton, S.M.. yesterday, tlie most frequent charge being that of | riding on the footpaths within the j borough. For first offences in this i matter O. Clark, R. Craig, Michael I Perston, Titos. Gibbons, Anthony I Harding. Thomas Worlds, Albert Andorson. Herbert Barber, George Gar- | reft, Arnold Borham, Robert Kearns- j Gee, Peter Bovle, Arnold Hare, Wal- j ter Yardley and William Hanges were ! each convicted and lined £1 and costs , 7s. For a second offence -Martin j Mauder was fined £1 5s and costs. 7s. For riding bicycles without lights at night Patrick Kennedy. R. Dobson, viler t Andrews and Will Gordon were each fined £1 ami costs 7s. Charles Fenwick, Arthur Brown and A lex Barclay were lined~-10s and costs 7s each, for driving motor cars at night without tail-lights. Robert Mitchell, Edward O’Donohue. F. Woodburn, u-.iiam Dixon, Leonard Fryer and Walter Ingram were each fined 5s and costs 7s each, for driving vehicles round corners on the wrong side. Noble Lowndes was convicted tfpd/ fined 5s and 7s costs far riding a horse round a corner on the right-hand side. For driving vehicles or riding bicycles on the wrong side of Gladstone Road. H. Sturdell, Poihini A. Leech and Edward Williams were fined 5s aiid 7s costs.
