SITUATION AT WARSAW AND IVANGOROD UNCHANGED. AIRSHIPS BOMBARD RUSSIAN RAILWAYS--IMPORTANT CAPTURES CIA IMED. (Received August 9, 12.10 a.in.) AMSTERDAM, August X. A German official report is as follows : The Russians east of Ponewiecz retreated belaud Jura. The armies of Generals von. Cholz and von Gallowitz, aftei severe fighting, broke the Russians’ resistance between Lomza and the North Bug. Between the 4th and Gth we captured 85 officers and 14,200 men, six cannon, and GO niaohmegims^ Siege troops before Novo Georgieosk advanced Lorn the north to the Narew, capturing Debic fort. _ Our troops from the south reached the V istula near VV lenkow. The situation at Warsaw is unchanged. The Russians continue the bombardment ol I’oryu from the eastern bank, of the Vistula. Out airships bombarded the railway at stations Novo Minsk and Siedlod. The situation north of Ivangorod is unchanged. The Germans near. Ruskojvala. between the Vistula and the Bug, stormed the Russian positions and forced their way through the lake country nortii-east oj Rem-z.
