Tho Canterbury Co.’s -s.s. Retone, ■which lias been discharging coal at this port, completed operations last night, and sailed, for Greynioutli direct. The- schooner Awanui left lor Coast bays ami Auckland last night, after loading a) general cargo here. Co.’s s.s. Tarawera arrive,, this afternoon, from Auckland and Tokomaru Bay. Two tenders will ho run, ono on arrival of tho steamer and! one at 7.30 p.m. The vessel will leave for Napier and South at about 10 p m. Tho s.s. Warrimoo, of the same company, will arrive this morning from Napier and southern ports, and will be tendered r*t C a.m. and 10 a.m. Tho s.s. Warrimoo will sail about noon for Tokomaru Bjiy and Auckland. The scow Macro discharges her cargo of coal for the G.S.FAI. Co. today, and sails to-night direct for Auckland.
Rit/fiardson and Co.’s s.s. Ripple is expected from Wellington and Napier on Friday morning, and after discharging her cargo will sail in tho ■'.'veiling for Wellington direct. Richardson, and. Co.’s s.s. Kalin loft Auckland! last night for' Coast, hays ami Gisborne.
The Canterbury Co.’s s.s. Calm arrives on August 24th from Napier and southern ports, with a cargo of general produce. The Union Co.’s produce ship s.s. Karamu arrives on Friday from South island ports, with a general cargo. Tho a.s, Kaeo left Auckland on Saturday, and was probably tho sailing vessel sighted at East Cape yesterday morning. She will probably arrive in port some time next week.
