Reid has purchased Sunny Lake, one of the fastest-horses in England, by Sandridge-—Pearl of Loch, by Persimmon, and his shipped him by the Arawa. Ho was beaten by a head in the Newmarket Handicap. Mr Reid intends to race the horse in, New Zealand before sending him to the stud.
