A BUGGY WHEEL.
A CLAIM FOR ITS VALUE. PLAINTIFF NON-SUITED. E. ,E. Somervell (Mr Dunlop) proceeded against D. At el lor (Mr A. 1. Co’cman) at the Magistrate's Court yesterday morning to recover the sum of 30s, the value of a buggy wheel claimed to have been supplied to defendant’s order in January. 1914. The paintiif stated that in January, 1914, the defendant was coach painting for witness in the country. Defendant saw a broken down buggy on the road and -endeavored to obtain a contract from the owner to fix it up. Defendant obtained a wheel lrom witness for 30s, which was a very low price. Defendant sard tho buggy would come in in a few days but it did not do so, and defendant later refused to pay for tho wheel, stating that the price was too high. Bv Air Coleman: Delcndant said the*buggy could not be brought into town unless a wheel was sent out. llie understanding was that the buggy was to come in. Witness had monthly settlements with defendant, and wound up business matters with fine at the end of last year Witness did not. include the cost ol tlio wheel i the final settlement.
