WORLD'S PICTURES.

The programme being submitted at the World’s Pictures this afternoon and evening is one of exceptional merit. The leading feature is entitled “The Red Blood of Courage." The title itself savors of heroic deeds and the play evolves some most- thrilling scenes. India has always been associated with the occult and superstition in many phases, and in "The Red Blood of Courage” many of these factors are introduced. .1 ho plot in. brief reveals Professor Dunne, an etlmogolist, and his daughter Lydia engaged in scientific research. Lydia and the professor’s assistant, Harding are avowed lovers. Their guest takes them to Hindustan and Lydia is abducted by Singa Din, a Hindu Prince. Her adventures and the incidents leading up to the final rescue afford enough excitement to satisfy tho most exciting. Some incidents in connection with the torpedoing of the Lusitania, showing the landing of survivors. etc., should prove most interesting’. The comedy element- is in great force, and "A Horse of Another Color” is claimed to be par excellence. The scenes are of a highly ludicrous nature, especially where the bride attempts to ride an intoxicated horse. Other features include a special war film showing "The French in Alsace After 40 Years,” and ’Mud and Matrimony” picturing what is claimed to be the funniest- wedding on record.
