NOTES. The Jluddai't Parker Co.'s s.s. Victoria arrived on Saturday from Napier and Southern ports, and was tendered at 6 and 40 a.m. The vessel left shortly before noon for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. The Union Co.’s s.s. Kara mu, produce steamer, > arrived on Saturday afternoon from' South with a cargo of produce. After discharging, she left for Greymouth yesterday. The Craig Co.'s s.s. lluimata jinislied the discharge of her cargo on Saturday afternoon, and left for Wliangarei, sailing thence for Jlokianga and Sydney. The s.s. Kahn (Richardson and Co.) arrived earlier than was expected on Saturday night, and will leave tonight for Coast hays and Auckland.

The Union Co.’s s.s. Warrimoo arrived yesterday from Auckland, after a very rough trip. The weather was so bad that the ship was forced to pass Tokomaru Bay without picking up the passengers. The vessel arrived late, and was tendered at 3 p.m. and 6.45 p.m., ami left later for Napier and Southern ports. The Union Co.'s s.s. Rosamond is duo to arrive to-day Horn Auckland amt C-oast bays, but owing to the heavy weather experienced oil the coast, will probably be late. The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s s.s. Opawa arrives to-day from Wellington and Napier to load wool and meat tor Homo markets. After loading the vessel will leave for Auckland. There are at present two sailing vessels waiting for favorable weather, and by to-night there will he another, the vessels being the scow llaore, the ketch Coronation, and the auxiliary schooner Huia.

The scow Rangi arrived on Saturday afternoon from Auckland with a full cargo -of coal for Messrs Clare and Clare. There is also aboard tne vessel the new locomotive lor the Government railway. Tho a-.s. lva.cn is due to arrive during the week from Auckland anil Coast bays.

Tho Union Co.'s s.s. Paloona, arrives on Wednesday morning from Napier aid Southern ports, and will bo tendered at 6 and 10 a.m., sailing later for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. On her return trip south, she will spend Sunday night in the roadstead, and will he tendered with the reinforcement troops at. 6 am. on Monday morning. Tho Huddart, 'Parker Co.’s s.s. Victoria arrives from Auckland and Tokomaru Bay on Wednesday afternoon anil will he tendered on a; rival and at 7.30 p.m. 'I lie vessel -will sail later for Napier and Southern ports. The dredger John 'lownlev, which ■lias been laid un for repairs, is now loady for work again.
