PREPARATION OF BUSINESS
By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. Not once since the formation of the National Cabinet have all the Ministers been in Wellington at once. Yesterday all were in town save Mr Allen and lie is expected from tho South on Thursday. * In. tho meantime the Ministers are all busy, either in making themselves an fait with their, now Departments, or in preparing business for Parliament. Mr Massey said this evening that lie’ did not expect that tile Houso would do much important business this week. The House would not meet until Thursday evening and, as it was Local Bills day, no Government business of consequence would come on. . . Sir Joseph Ward is preparing the Budget, but he declined to say this evening when he proposed to bring it down.
