At the Addington live stock market to-day there were large yardings oi fat stock, especially of sheep and good attendance. Fat cattle were rather easier and fat lambs didn’t equal the price per lb ruling at tho previous sale, fiat sheep were also a little easier. Good store wethers and hoggets were good, but poorer classes arid ewes were weaker.
Store Sheep.—Good hoggets 14s 3d to 16s Bd, medium hoggets Ils 9d to 14s, inferior hoggets 10s to 11s Gd, good ewe hoggets 16s Id to 10s sd, good four and six-tooth wethers 20s Id to 22s 4d, fair two- four and sixtooth wethers 16s 9d to 19s 9d, culls wethers 13s 9d to 15s 6d, aged ewes 5s to 7s Gd, sound-mouthed ewes Tss to 16s Gd, failing mouthed ewes 10s 6d to 12s Gd.
Fab Lambs. —Prime lambs 22s to 25s Gd, extra prime lambs to 495, medium lambs 17s Od to 21s Gd, lighter sorts 14s bo 17s.
Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 37s Gd, prime wethers 24s to 32s Gd, others IBs 3d to 23s Gd, merino we tilers 23s t-o 265, extra prime ewes to 41s, prime ewes 22s to 30s, mediums 17s to 21s Gd, light and inferior 13s 3d to 10s Od, merino ewes 7s Del to 15s sd.
Fat Cattle.—Extra prime steers in £23 10s, other steers £8 to £ll 10s, extra prime heifers to £l7 10s, other heifers £G bo £lO, extra cows to £l9 10s. other cows £5 10s to £0 (price of beef poi’ 1001 b 33s to 525.) Store Cattle.— Yearlings 18s to 265, 15 to 18 months £2 8s to £3 7s Gd, two and a half-year steers £5 2s Gd, two-year heifers £4, 3-year steers £8 17s Gd (passed), three-year heifers £5 7s Gd, drv cows 80s to £5 ss, dairy cows £3 10s to £l2 ] ss.
Fat Pigs.—Choppers 70s to 140 s. extra baconers to 90s, heavy baconers 75s to 81s, light baconers 57s Gd to 70s (price per lb G.',d to GUI), heavy porkers 43s to 47s Gd, light porkers 35s to 40s (price wr lb GUI to GRI). Stores Pigs.—These were in good demand, medium sorts making 22s to 28s, small 17s to 21s, weaners S.s to 21 s. sows in pig £2 to £3 ss,and sows with litter £2 5s to £5.
