The Rugby clubs and their affiliated Leagues rejected, by fourteen votes to thirteen, 'Wigan’s proposal to remove the ban on all Colonial players on January 8. A further motion supported the action of the Rugby League Council, releasing the restriction on Australian and New Zealand Rugby Union players from January 3. The Council decided to reduce the price of admission to the Leeds test on January 15 to Is 6d. It was considered that L. Brown had been sufficiently punished by being sent off the field. E.
