An Invercargill message states that the death is announced after an operation at Dunedin of Mr. Jus. Fleming, a well-known Southland farmer, aged To. He took a prominent part in public affairs, and was long identified wifh the County Council, Hospital Board, A. and P. Society, and other institutions. His estate at Rakahouka is the model farm of Southland. —P.A.

His Lordship the Bishop of AYaiapu the Et. Rev. Dr. AV. AY. Sedgwick, accompanied by Airs, and Aliss Sedgwlick, left Napier on Friday morning for Wellington, where they will join tho Port Sydney en route to the Old Country. His Lordship, who is making the trip for health reasons, will be absent from the Dominion for about eight or nine months.
