WAINGAWA TROUBLE
BUTCHERS NOW BACK AT WORK.
MASTERTON, Jan. 7
.Enquiry made in official quarters at the meat- works this morning elicited the information that an agreement had been reached between the company and the butchers satisfactory to both sides and that work was proceeding. This means that the 50 butchers previously engaged before the dispute have resumed work, and that the free laborers who were shumhterinor have returned home. — P.A.
