During a regatta on the Clyde the commodore’s luxurious steam yacht was held up for a considerable time by a dredger, which occupied the middle of a narrow channel tip one of the lochs. As there appeared to be no sign of movement aboard the dredger, the navigating officer on the yacht unloosed a stentorian flow ol language in the best nautical vein.
