The Auckland provincial lawn tennis championship tourney is nearing the final stages, and the finals, with exception ol the ladies’ doubles, which were decided to-day, will be played to-morrow. The chief results are:— —Men’s Singles.— Semi-finals.—E. C. Bartleet beat S. J. Nicholson, 6—2. 6—4. B—6; A. W. Sims beat T. Clark, 6—l, 6-—O, 6—3.
