BUYERS’ CHAIRMAN ASKS QUESTION

The proposal to place Gisborne on the wool roster is apparently still being considered by the wool buyers. At Satm day’s meeting of the Poverty Bay executive of the N.Z. Farmers Union, a letter was read from Mr H. G. Milne, chairman of the New Zealand Wool Buyers’ Association, advising that he was in favor of placing Gisborne on the roster o'f wool sales if it should be proved that the district had ' uninterrupted communication with outside. . It was decided to write to Mr Milne advising him that there were five motor car services operating in the district giving a most satisfactory sendee.
