FRENCH ENGINEER’S CLAIM
LONDON, Dec. 27
Aviation circles are keenly interested in the announcement that a French engineer, Raoul Ferrier, lias invented a non.-inflammable petrol, says the Paris edition of the “Chicago Tribune.”
The invention consists of a revised method of distilling raw petroleum, which is now being investigated by the Academy of Sciences. If found practicable, French Army aeroplanes will probably utilise the new fuel.
