Mr Baldwin returns to London today to take- up his permanent quarters ut Downing Street after the holidays. ■ . Henceforth frequent meetings oi Cabinet may be expected, since some of the bills, as the Conservative Morning Post admits, will deal with subject? concerning which there is bound to be differences of opinion among the supporters of the Government. The chief measure to bo advanced will be one to amend the trade union law, concerning which tho AttorneyGeneral publicly said: “There will be a difficult, prolonged and even bitter fio-ht.’’ The Bill will declare that those engaged in a general strike are o-uiltv of seditious conspiracy. It wiU define peaceful picketing, and prevent Civil Service unions from being under .the orders of outside bodies. Other measures will deal with the noor law, unemployment, insurance, motor traffic and cinematograph films. -A.N.Z.O.A. .
