A large crowd was present to witness the games with the Australian visitors, which resulted as follows: Doubles: Fitzgerald and Brewstei heat Andrews and Sandral 3—b, 6—3 6—2; F. and N. Peach lost to Malfroy and Haege o—4, 4—6, 6—2; North and McCausland beat Robson and Clark 6—4, 6 3. „ Singles :N. Peach heat Haege s—/ '3—3, 6—l. 1 The visitors were accorded a civic welcome by the Alhyor, Afr F. J. Nathan. . The tourney games are drawing to a close. The following are now left in the sections. Men’s singles; M Wilson, P. Haege, M. Lampe, C. Malfroy, and E. D. Andrews. Ladies’ singles: Mrs Melody, -Misses D. Nioholls and M. Spen-s. Men’s doubles: AVilson and Park, McDonald and Sandral, Haege and Malfroy, AATieeler and Griffiths. Ladies’ doubles: Mrs He-tley and Miss Clark, Misses Ramsay and AVitherow, Miss Meyers and Calve r.
