U.S S Go*- . T.td. - The Wainui arrived from Auckland and was tendered at 3 a.m. yesterday with the launch for inward passengers. She discharged her cargo and sailed later for Napier, the launch for outward passengers leaving the Kaiti side at 3 p.m. The Kamo left Napier last evening and will be discharging southern produce, in the roadstead to-day. On completion of discharge the steamer sails for the West Coast; The Kahika was due to load at Dunedin yesterday, omits Oarnaru owing to shortage of cargo offering, Timaru to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow, Wellington Jan. IS, and is due ax Gisborne about 22 hist. —New Zealand Shipping Coy.— The Huntingdon is clue at Gisborne to-morrow to load frozen meat and general cargo for London and west coast of United Kingdom ports. - - Tiie Tekoa is due at Gisborne about January 24 to load frozen meat and general cargo for London, —Richardson and Coy Ltd,—The Awaliou arrived early _ this morning from Auckland, via Tokomam and Tolaga Bay, and sails again this afternoon for the northern port via Tokomaru Bay. The Kiritona arrived from Napier yesterdaj’ morning, and sails again to-dav tor the same port. The Pakura is due this morning from Wellington and Napier, returning later in the day to the former port. The Putiki is due back at Gisborne from Napier to-day. The Parera is due to-morrow with coal from .Westport and Greymouth. The Koutunui arrived with wool from Tolaga Bay last night and, alter transhipping to the Gallic, sailed for Waipare and Araura to load wool for the Huntingdon at Napier. —G.S.F.M.and M. Coy Ltd— The Tiroa is due at Auckland today, and is expected to leave there again for Hick’s Bay and Gisborne to-morrow evening. She arrives on Monday and sails that night for the return trip over the same route. The Elsie Marv was working Bay of Plenty ports yesterday, and probably arrives at Auckland during the week-end. She will clear the northern port about Tuesday for Gisborne direct.
—Dalgety and Coy., Ltd.— Tlie Gallic is expected to complete her Gisborne loading to-day, and will be despatched for Wellington whence she will be finally despatched on Jan. 21 for London, via Cape Horn. SHIPPING TELEGRAM S (Received Jan. 13, 9.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 13. Sailed, Mannganui, at 4 p.m., for AVellin gton.—U -P. A. COAL HULK SPRINGS LEAK, REACHED AT KAJWARRA WELLINGTON, Jan. 13. The coal-laden iron hulk Arawatta belonging to the Union S.S. _ Co., sprang a leak after bumping against the Devon in the stream and was beached at Kaiwarra. It is now feared that her back is broken. She was originally a passenger steamer of 576 tons. In 1875 she did the Glasgow to Melbourne trip in o2 days, and estalished a record run from Melbourne to Port Chalmers of five days.—P.A.
