KILLED BY HEAT
TWELVE VICTIMS IN ADELAIDE. TEMPERATURE. REACHES 105 DEGREES. ADELAIDE, Jan. 13. Nine of the heat wave victims were inmates of the Old Folks’ Home at Magill, and the other three were patients of the children’s hospital. The temperature for five successive days was well over 100 degrees, while the maximum was reached yesterday in 105. There has been such an abnormal uemand for water that gardners have been requested not to use water during the day, when factories are drawing supplies.—U.P.A.

Extremely hot weather continues to prevail.’ The temperature to-day reached 110 degrees. One death is reported, due to sunstroke. U.P.A.
