Humphrey Bishop Coy.

OPERA HOUSE TO-MORROW. The box plans are filling fast at Tattersall and Bayly’s for the forthcoming visit of the famous English Humphrey Bishop Musical Comedy at the Opera House to-morroxv evening. The news of the great success of this company in Manly and Sydney has evidently preceded them. Comedy is the keynote, and with such comedians as George ‘Scratched Ross, Charles Albert, Mark Leslie and Dan Flood, there is not* a dull moment all through the show. Thoxigh low comedy and laxighter predominate on the vocal side, the company are especially strong, and to hear one of their operatic finales accompanied by the Humphrey Bishop Orchestra, it would seem impossible to believe that there xvas not a real grand opera chorus behind them. The original Ragtime Quartette has for years now never been allowed to leave the stage without at least foxir encores. This quartette appeals to everyone, both from a comedy point of view, as well as a vocal one, and their reception everywhere can only be described as a riot. Intending patrons are requested to book early as there is every indication of a packed house greeting them here. There will be an entire change of programme on Txiesday and Thursday next. ,
