OPERA HOUSE,' TO-NIGHT. To-night at the Opera House the new English Humphrey Poshop Musical Comedy Company will meet a Gisborne audience face to face. Included in the first programme rHer the new introduction of the artists is a delightful duet by Thelma Tzott (soprano) and John Montiort (tci-oi). V ehboi in a singing- dancing and musiu-d s'-eteh, Charles Albert (tlm IrrepT-ssible “Dame”) will discourse on “Mrs. B.” Allan Kitson and the Girls in a breezy ballet dancing seena. then “SCratchor” Boss will introduce Ins new absurdity, “The Stage Cai pen • tor ” after which Valter Kingsley, Thelma Trolt, Fred. Webber, assisted by the company, will anneal- in a scene from “11 Trovatore.” Ihe second mart commences with a gorgeously froeked Eastern seena. “Ni e Nights.” Then Marie London and J o hn Mount-fort appear in a neat cross talk and singing duo. Alte. which “Scratchcr” Ross and I red. Webber have a. laughable sketch, “Hot and Strong.” Walter Kingsley will sing “Bells of the Sea” and “Just a Cottage Small.” Mark Leslie assisted bv Evadno Royle, have a clever comedy duo, and the performance will conclude with a riot oi_ fun, “In. Arc-ady,” by “Seratcher ' Rc-s and the ciminany. ihe plans are now filling fast at Tattersall and Bnvly’s. There will bo_ an entire change of programme on Tuesday and on Thursday.
